  1. Are your counselling services covered by extended health insurance or OHIP?

    We offer affordable services to suit your needs. While counselling is not covered by OHIP, our centre allows for the coverage by most extended health benefits. Contact us to see how we can best accommodate you.

  2. What time are your offices open for appointments?

    Appointments may be scheduled for weekdays, and evenings. Some weekend appointments may be available to suit your individual needs.

  3. Where are your office locations?

    We have offices in Toronto, Burlington and Mississauga and are continually expanding our locations. Please call to find the closest office to you.

  4. How long are sessions?

    Generally sessions last for an hour, but it is possible to make longer sessions depending on an individuals need.

  5. How do I pay?

    Payments can be made by cash, cheque, Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

  6. When do I pay?

    Payments are collected at the end of every session.

  7. Can I bring my children?

    It is generally not advisable to bring children if they are not a part of the session as they are sometimes a distraction.

  8. Can I bring my partner?

    We encourage the participation of spouses or partners when circumstances allow for it.

  9. How long will it take?

    The length of treatment is dependent on each individual, therefore it is not possible to give a specific length of treatment for most individuals. It is something we can discuss on an individual basis.

  10. Do I need a referral?

    We do not require you to have a referral although some insurance companies do. Please check with your extended health care provider where applicable.

  11. Do you offer telephone counselling?

    We will occasionally provide telephone counselling to ongoing clients when no other arrangements can be made, although we do not provide telephone counselling on its own. We do not recommend ongoing telephone counselling as we feel that the relationship developed through face to face counselling is more efficient and effective for our clients.

  12. Do you offer online counselling?

    Although we can answer your questions about our services over the internet, we do not provide online counselling. We do not recommend online counselling as we feel that the relationship developed through face to face counselling is more efficient and effective for our clients.
